Reorder, remove, replace a slot.

Hover any chip — there's an ×. Right-click — there's a 'replace this colour' option. The palette row does more than you think.

// What it does

Drag a chip along the row to reorder. Slot numbers (19) follow the new order.

Hover a chip → click × to remove. Every face painted with that colour reverts to unpainted. Undo-able.

Right-click → Replace this colour → current bulk re-colours every face that was painted with the right-clicked chip to the currently-active palette slot.

// When to use it
  • Re-ordering chips so your most-used colours sit on 1 and 2.
  • Pruning a palette down to just what you'll print with.
  • Swapping a colour scheme: paint with placeholder colours first, then right-click → replace to map to real filaments at the end.
// How to use it
  1. Reorder: drag chip 4 to position 2. Slots renumber.
  2. Remove: hover chip 5 → click ×. Faces revert to unpainted.
  3. Bulk replace: add a fresh chip, press its slot key. Right-click an old chip → Replace this colour → current. Done in one undo step.
// Tips
  • Removed by accident? The faces are unpainted, not gone — Ctrl+Z to undo.
  • Right-click Replace affects every face of that colour. If you only wanted one face, use Pick + repaint.
